8:35am - in the parlor of the Beasley Center, graduates will gather for group pictures and instructions for the service. We will have some donuts, juice, and coffee available.

8:45am - Seniors line up in the hallway near the front lobby for a presentation for the 8:50am
service. Graduates will enter in the service with pomp and circumstance.Seniors will be announced and presented with a gift.

10:55am - Seniors sit together in the reserved section in Sanctuary for the presentation of graduates for the 11:00am service. During this time, graduates will be recognized. Please note that the children’s choir will be performing its spring musical during this service. This will be a blessing and encouragement to all.

Our seniors are a valuable part of the youth ministry at Athens First Methodist Church. To show our appreciation to our graduates this year, we will have an appreciation lunch in their honor on May 5, immediately following our 11:00am Traditional service in the Beasley center. We invite you and your family to attend this special time to honor and encourage. We would also like to invite you to attend the 8:50am and 11:00am services that morning, where we will also honor your student during our services. 


To make this event a success, I need your help:
* We would like to give a presentation to the graduating class. We will need a Senior picture for the presentation. I am asking to receive these by May 1. Please email the picture to youth@athensfumc.org or text 256.606.1866 to give us ample time for the presentation.


 These seniors are dynamic, intelligent, kind, and exceptional young people.

 We are so blessed to be involved in their lives. Thank you for giving our church this opportunity. We are sure that they will continue to impact the world for Christ.
