OTHER SMALL GROUPS

TUESDAY MORNING MEN’S BIBLE STUDY (Jack McDaniel)
Each Tuesday Morning at 7:00 a.m., a group of men meet at Washington Street Cafe for food, fellowship, and Bible Study. This group began meeting 15 years ago and have been “walking” through the Bible each week. All men no matter what age or stage in life are welcome to attend. (Washington Street Café)

WEDNESDAY MORNING WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY (Donna McDaniel)
The Wednesday Morning Women's Bible Study meets each week at 10 a.m. in the Church Parlor and focuses on scripture and how it ties together God's plan for us from Genesis to Revelation. All women of all ages are invited and welcome to join. (Church Parlor)

WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY: THE LOGAN GROUP (Doug Logan)
The Wednesday night (Logan Group) Bible Study consists of a small group of curious believers who seek to better understand the Bible and its teachings. The Bible is the primary text. They do consult other material, when necessary, but think that they should rely on the Word as much as possible. The Logan Group is currently engaged in a lengthy study to understand the Bible as a single cohesive document, rather than a patchwork of various writings about a subject. They believe that the Bible seeks to tell us the story of God’s complete redemption of His creation through the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus. By studying this theme, they hope to understand what Jesus told the disciples as they walked together to Emmaus, so that they shall see Him more clearly. (Home of Betty and Doug Logan)

WEDNESDAY EVENING VIRTUAL GROUP (Donna and Jack McDaniel)
On Wednesday evenings at 7:30 pm, a small group of young adults meet virtually for fellowship and Bible study. This group is designed to offer the flexibility of being able to connect with other Christians from the comfort of home, when traveling OR taking care of babies! The class is “Walking through the Bible” from Genesis to Revelation in order to strengthen their understanding of and relationship to God. (Virtually using ZOOM)

EMMAUS CLUSTER AND REUNION GROUPS (Betty Grisham)
After attending an Emmaus Walk, monthly Cluster meetings are held for Emmaus participants to meet for fellowship, worship, and information to support needs of upcoming Walk to Emmaus weekends, and other opportunities for servant leadership. The meetings are held in Garth Chapel at 6:30 pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month. In addition to Cluster meetings, small Reunion Groups meet at regularly scheduled times to share their daily walk with Christ, and to celebrate and encourage each other along their spiritual journey.
