Serve the Kingdom on our upcoming mission trips

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

The Mission Committee oversees the many mission opportunities sponsored by First Methodist Church. Every church member is encouraged to be active in any of the projects during the year. These are areas where our members often volunteer:

Limestone County Churches Involved LCCI:
This is an organization consisting of volunteers from over 30 churches. LCCI provides emergency food, general assistance, and Christian counseling to the families and individuals of Limestone County. Several small church groups, Sunday School classes, and individuals from our church make food donations to LCCI and assist with LCCI throughout the year. Jerry Boyd is the Volunteer Coordinator. Max Tomlin, John Hamner, Amy Caldwell, Laura Simes, Miles Ward, and Anne Carter are members who would be happy to discuss this effort in more detail. Volunteers are always needed in various areas of this service.
