We want you to be able to know all our happenings in the youth ministry. Texts are a proven way of getting communication out quick and dependable.

The Youth Ministry of the Athens First Methodist Church is an active group. They meet in the Athens First Methodist Church Youth Center located at 203 North Jefferson Street
Sunday mornings:
Sunday School at 10am.
Once a month, we try to do an activity with our youth.
Sometimes, this is a time to meet up to play pickleball, serve in our community, or go on an outing.
Wednesday nights:
6:00pm -7:30pm
Youth Midweek Service
*The Last Midweek on Regular weekly MIDweek meetings ends May 14, and our summer schedule begins. Check out our summer events Midweek will resume regularly on Aug. 13, 2025.
Doors open from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. We usually have a meal and some recreation. 6:30pm service starts. The studies start in a big group
setting and, after teaching, are split up into Middle School and High School small groups. The topics and studies are different each week, so if you haven’t been around before or have been around for a while, you can
jump right back in!
Other activities include a yearly mission trip, Christmas party, community service projects, and many other events to build our community and your faith further.
