Key Thought: For us Christians, Christmas is about the gift of God (His only Son Jesus)
given to/for us! Epiphany is God revealed to the Gentiles through the Magi who gave gifts of
gold, frankincense, and myrrh. The original gift giver is God!
1. Gifts that God gives to us:
A) Forgiveness (1John 1:9);
B) Eternal life (Romans 6:23 & John 17:24);
C) Adoption into the family of God (John 1:12-13);
D) Guidance (John 8:12);
E) Assurance of fruitfulness and significance (John 15:5-16);
F) His Holy Spirit (John 14:15-21 & Luke 11:13)
2. God’s gifts are:
A) Perfect;
B) Precious;
C) Permanent;
D) Personal.
3. Let us present ourselves as a gift to God in gratitude for His great mercies given to us
(Romans 12:1-2)!
