Key Thought: We all have or will suffer during our lives on this earth! Even Jesus the perfect
Son of God suffered. Our own suffering should move us closer to God. In good and bad times,
we must put our trust in God!
1. Why do bad things happen to good people?
2. Suffering makes us more compassionate toward others who are also facing obstacles!
3. Suffering reminds us of our dependence on God!
4. Is suffering necessary? Yes, I think so! Even God suffered on our behalf!
5. May we truly be the people God wants us to be in every way!
